Job Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision biomedical components according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  2. Monitoring Performance: Continuously monitor machine performance during production runs, making adjustments to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
  3. Quality Inspection: Conduct quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
  4. Collaboration with Setters and Programmers: Work closely with CNC setters and programmers to understand setup requirements and report any operational issues.
  5. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure reliability and reduce downtime.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality checks, and any issues encountered during operation.
  7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing environment to ensure a safe workplace.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as a CNC machine operator.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machines (mills and lathes).
  • Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres)
