Job Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Create and optimize CNC programs based on detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that they meet precision standards required for biomedical components.
  • Simulation and Testing: Conduct simulations of CNC programs to verify their accuracy and efficiency before actual machining begins, identifying any potential issues in advance.
  • Collaboration with Operators: Work closely with CNC operators to communicate programming requirements and ensure seamless machine setups.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve programming issues during machining, making necessary adjustments to optimize production.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of programming procedures and revisions to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry advancements and apply new techniques and technologies to improve programming efficiency and accuracy.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all programs adhere to quality control standards and specifications.

Job Requirements:

  • ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in CNC programming.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
  • Strong experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
