Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Shipments – Organize and manage the movement of goods, both incoming and outgoing.
- Track Deliveries – Monitor the progress of deliveries to ensure they arrive on time.
- Manage Inventory – Keep track of stock levels and help with inventory planning.
- Liaise with Suppliers and Customers – Communicate with suppliers, customers, and transportation providers to resolve any issues or delays.
- Ensure Compliance – Make sure shipments comply with legal and company requirements (e.g., documentation, customs).
- Optimize Routes – Plan and optimize delivery routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Process Orders – Handle order fulfillment from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle Documentation – Prepare and maintain shipping and delivery documents like invoices, bills of lading, and customs papers.
- Monitor Performance – Track key logistics metrics and report on the effectiveness of logistics operations.
- Problem-solving – Address and resolve any issues that arise in the logistics process, such as delays or damages.
